Engraved in Grenchen · Individual pieces and small batches
Which photo tells your story?
A clearly recognizable main subject works better on a small pendant than a distant group. A walk by Lake Biel may hold the memory, but a closer crop of the person or pet often works best for engraving. Choose an original photo with a sharp, well-lit face or subject.
A photo on metal is not a colour print
Photo engraving reproduces an image through contrast. A colourful sunset alone does not guarantee a clear engraving. Light and dark areas, the surface and the image size affect the result. If you are choosing between pictures, send your idea through the custom enquiry.
German, French or your own words
In Biel/Bienne, the right message may be “Immer bei dir”, “Toujours avec toi” or simply a name. Choose words that feel right to you. Check accents, apostrophes and spelling carefully before ordering. For two languages on a small piece, a short line is usually clearer than two long sentences.
From the Seeland to your personal engraving

Good to know before you enquire.
Can I have a photo checked beforehand?
Describe your idea and use the custom enquiry page for the image file. A sharp original photo is more useful for assessment than a screenshot.
Can I use French wording?
You can provide French wording for engraving. Send the accents and spelling exactly as required; we check space and appearance on the chosen product.
Where can I find cropping advice?
Our photo guide explains sharpness, lighting and suitable crops. Both eyes should be clear and fully visible in the source photo for an eye design.
